A Picture is Worth….How much?
Photography is a great tool for social media users. How many times have you seen someone post a picture of their meal, or share a selfie? Probably enough times to make you feel nauseous.
That doesn’t change the fact that users want stimulating visuals when they open their social media apps. When it was first launched, Instagram’s main focus was photos—less text, more pictures, not much else. And it became wildly popular overnight.
Instagram has expanded to include video but has kept the general format that heavily favors visuals more than text.
Give potential customers what they want! Provide photos of your product, business, team members, or anything else that showcases the things that you can provide to customers. You don’t need an expensive camera, studio lights, or some other expensive setup. Your cell phone will work just fine. Just get in the habit of posting and/or advertising on a regular basis in order to build an audience.
Once you’ve built an audience, transition to more complex digital ads that allow you to target the people you want to reach without spending a penny more than you’ve budgeted.
