What’s the ideal length for videos promoting your products or services? The answer depends on how you’ll use the video. We advise clients to keep three points in mind when creating video.
First, keep it interesting. Make sure that your video demonstrates the value of your product or service while helping your audience reach the moment where they say, “Hey, I need that!”
Second, keep it entertaining. You don’t have to be a comedian and you want to stay true to your brand’s voice but injecting some humor or other elements that bring a smile to people’s faces is a good idea.
Third, keep it short. Attention spans these days are getting shorter and shorter. Anything you can do to get your message across quickly and accurately will be helpful.
Longer videos have their place. Your videos can be as long as you need them to be in order to get your message across to your audience. Just keep in mind that, over time, you’ll lose some of your audience when using longer videos.
